A new Chick-fil-A opened in February at the Elyson community in north Katy.
Located at 22159 FM 529, this new restaurant will bring approximately 80 full-and part-time jobs to the community, according to a Feb. 22 news release on the opening.
The Elyson location celebrated its opening with a $25,000 donation to Feeding America to fight against hunger in the Greater Houston area.
The fast casual restaurant is known for its chicken sandwiches and waffle fries.
