Enjoy holiday magic and mammals this season at the Houston Zoo
Every year the Houston Zoo hosts a dazzling light spectacle for the City of Houston. This year, the zoo will continue its tradition from November 18 – January 8, 2023. [Featured image via houstonzoo.org]
“Houston’s favorite holiday lights experience – TXU Energy presents Zoo Lights – is back at the Houston Zoo,” the zoo writes on its website. “The beautiful Zoo grounds are the perfect setting to enjoy the sights and sounds of the season with friends and family!”
The zoo is set to feature a myriad of enchanting attractions for the whole family, including a gorgeous 33-foot-tall color changing tree, a canopy of twinkling flowers and butterflies, and the legendary Coca Cola bear.
Additionally, s’mores and hot chocolate will be available for purchase to keep your hands and bellies warm. Zoo Lights will feature a variety of special events this Christmas season, with Member Preview Nights, VIP Experience Nights, Sensory Friendly Night, and Special Discount Nights offered on select nights Mondays through Thursdays.
This year, Zoo Lights is introducing Sip and Sparkle, an adult-only experience on Thursday, November 17.
