Annual Grand Prix

Hosted by the Greater East Montgomery County Chamber, 20 teams will compete on the go-kart track during this annual event, which will also include lunch, an awards after party, a raffle and live music by Taylor Marberry.

Election day

Head to the polls on May 3, election day, to vote on local ballot items including Montgomery County's $480 million road bond, Splendora ISD's $150 million bond, board of directors elections for East Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 6 and 7, and a sales tax rate equalization election for Montgomery County Emergency Services District No. 7. Your Favorite Market will be hosting a Cinco de Mayo themed event at Montana’s Saloon in Splendora and New Caney. The adult only event will feature food and drinks, karaoke, a mini market, raffles and giveaways. New Caney Community Market

Shop at an outdoor market filled with local vendors and food trucks in the parking lot of Valley Ranch Town Center. Products include local produce, meats, honey, baked goods and other artisan goods.
