Looking for something to do to celebrate the Fourth of July in the Houston area? Check out this guide. All events are subject to change, and this list is not comprehensive.
City of Bellaire Celebration of Independence Parade and FestivalAttendees can celebrate independence with food, live music and more. The parade will begin at 9 a.m. at South Rice and Valerie streets and will end at South Rice and Linden streets. The festival will follow in Bellaire Town Square.

49th Annual South County 4th of July ParadePresented by Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, the parade will feature floats, fire engines, marching bands, military units and more. This year’s event is themed “Wings of Liberty: Celebrating the Bald Eagle.” Pre-parade entertainment will begin at 8 a.m.
Typhoon Texas Red, White and BoomAttendees can spend the day at Typhoon Texas Waterpark, which will host a series of performances such as patriotic stilt walkers, skydivers, a hula hoop artist and more. The day will conclude with a fireworks finale at 9 p.m.
CITYCENTRE Fourth of July Celebration
Celebrate the Fourth of July with live music from Dunn and Brooks and ZZ Tex, a shopping market, contests and yard games, a food court, a play zone for children, fireworks and more. Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets, but coolers and outside food and beverages are not permitted.
Liberty on the Brazos
Celebrate with food trucks, vendor booths, live music, fireworks and a children’s area at Abe and Lizzie Daily Park. Attendees must register online to secure their parking pass to enter the park.
VFW Post Celebration
Attendees can celebrate independence at VFW Post 8905, a veterans’ organization in Cypress. The event will include a bounce house and water slides for children, as well as free burgers, hot dogs, snow cones and fireworks.
Star-Spangled Salute
The Houston Symphony will play patriotic tunes such as “America the Beautiful,” “The Stars and Stripes Forever” and “1812 Overture.” The event will be followed by a fireworks display.
