Houston Art Car Parade

This annual event from The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art returns for its 37th year, featuring 250 art cars from across the U.S. The four-day series features a parade around Allen Parkway, a ball, an awards ceremony and a children’s creative zone.Joy of Quilting 2024 Show

The Piecemakers at Klein United Methodist Church are holding their Joy of Quilting 2024 Show with over 100 quilts to support the Tomball VA, Ronald McDonald House and The Gathering. Visitors can stroll through over 150 quilts and shop with area vendors, buy quilts, sponsor a charity quilt, purchase tickets to win a king-size quilt, enjoy specialized quilt displays and purchase treasures from the Piecemaker Boutique.VFW Post 8905's 36th semiannual barbecue cook-off

VFW Post 8905 hosts a cook-off featuring contests for chicken, pork spare ribs, brisket slices and beans. The event also includes a cake sale, meat raffle, liquor wagon raffle, and live and silent auctions to support veterans and the community.

Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival
The 19th Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival held by The Woodlands Arts Council, a local arts nonprofit, will benefit its microgrant and student art scholarship programs. The event will feature 200 artists’ work in mediums such as painting, woodworking, sculpture, photography, jewelry and ceramics.

Pickleball Festival and Tournament

STEM-E Youth Career Development Program will partner with The Greater Houston Pickleball Association and Houston Parks and Recreation for a pickleball tournament. The event will feature a bounce house, corn hole toss, face painting and raffles.Friends of Bellaire book sale

The Friends of the Bellaire Library will host its first book sale this year to help raise funds for the Bellaire City Library. Shoppers can find adult, young adult and children's books that are both hardback and paperback.

Pearland BMX Open House

BMX Racing League and Pearland BMX invite beginners to try the alternative sport, tour the facility and test the track with no obligation.
